Did you participate in the 2015-2016 Henry Cho Fundraiser? If you were a part of helping to organize, work, donate, or attend we hope you have heard the many great things we were able to do after our first ever large fundraising event.
If not, here is an update for you.
First, we are proud to say we almost raised $100,000 with the event. Our goal was to raise money for upgrades to our thirty plus year old elementary building. With the money we needed to complete a foundation fix, install a new air conditioning unit, and replace old windows. The extra things we hoped to include were a new PA system, security doors, white boards, and painting throughout.
Thanks to the generosity of so many we were able to fix the school’s foundation, install a new air conditioning unit, and replace old windows. We also have a new PA system, painting throughout the hallways of the building, and we even had some extra help to update the landscape at the front entrance to the elementary.
One of the highlights from the Henry Cho Live performance last evening was seeing these gentlemen, Mr. Paul Shirley and Mr. Joe Downey – 2 of the “Founding Fathers” of Knoxville Christian School! What an honor!

OUT WITH THE OLD…IN WITH THE NEW!!
Thank you to everyone who helped support our recent Henry Cho fundraising event! Because of your efforts the elementary building has a brand new air conditioning unit, windows, PA system, and a new foundation! More projects to follow!
What will the 2019-2020 fundraising event look like?
Will you get involved?
Where will the money go? Technology upgrades, security doors and gate, and excess funds will be split between a teacher endowment and scholarship funds.
