Mrs. Parham grew up in Detroit, Michigan from birth until she graduated from Luckett Christian Academy in 1986. After graduation, she attended Lipscomb University and graduated in 1991 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in math. On the same day as college graduation, she married Johnny Parham and headed to Knoxville for one year so he could finish his degree at UT. In the fall of 1991, she began teaching 5th grade at KCS. Needless to say, that “one year” has turned into more than two decades! While here she has worn many hats: 5th grade teacher, Middle School math, History, Literature, Language, P.E., Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-School Director, Interim Principal, etc. It is her joy to faithfully serve the students who come to Knoxville Christian School.
