Nichole Beaver received her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in Education, with a concentration in Painting and Ceramics, from Ohio University in 2006. She is certified to teach art in the state of Tennessee, preschool through 12th grade, and is currently teaching art education and preschool four.
Mrs. Beaver is very experienced in the fields of Art and Preschool. After graduating from college she worked for a year as an art teacher for Worthington and Mount Logan Elementary in Chillicothe, Ohio. She was also a lead teacher for 2 years at the Springboro, Ohio YMCA. While there, she also taught several art camps and classes for all ages. Mrs. Beaver and her family moved to the Washington, D.C. area in 2009 where she worked at the YMCA as a lead preschool teacher and art educator. In January 2012 the Beaver family moved to Knoxville and Mrs. Beaver became an assistant preschool teacher and art educator at Farragut church of Christ.
Mrs. Beaver is married with two children, Gus and Gwen, who attend KCS. The family loves the area and they are here to stay. Mrs. Beaver is so happy to be a part of the KCS community, working with staff and students to create an exciting learning experience.
Mrs. Beaver offers a well rounded art curriculum. Students experience a variety of different materials and an introduction to the artwork of artists from all around the world.
